Guidance from pastors and sheikhs

Christian, Muslim, both or neither. Faith leaders work alongside counsellors, never instead of them.

ChristianEphesians 5:25; Mark 10:45

Servant leadership at home

Scripture calls husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church, and Christ said he came not to be served but to serve. Leading at home means going first in sacrifice, patience and care. This week, lead by serving: take on one burden your family carries.

A soft answer

"A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger." A calm answer is not weakness; it takes more strength than shouting. When anger rises at home this week, slow your words.

Honour your wife

Husbands are told to live with their wives with understanding and to give them honour, so that their prayers are not hindered. Honour her in front of others, especially your children.

Sabr: patience in hard times

Believers are called to seek help through patience and prayer, and are reminded that with hardship comes ease. Patience is not doing nothing. It is staying steady and faithful while you work for a way through.
