Your point in one sentence

Before you speak at a meeting, finish this sentence in your head: "What I want is…" If you can't say it in one sentence, you're not ready to speak.

The 1-2-1 method

1. 1 sentence: your point. "I think we should pay the school fees in two parts."
2. 2 reasons: "It protects our savings, and the school accepts it."
3. 1 question: "What do you think?"

The question at the end shows strength, not weakness. Leaders invite views because they're not afraid of them.
