Warning signs of suicide risk
What to watch for in the group and in private.
Act the same day if a man
- Talks about wanting to die, being a burden, or having no reason to live
- Says goodbye, or gives things away
- Talks about a plan or method
Watch closely if a man
- Goes suddenly quiet after being active
- Talks about hopelessness, shame or being trapped
- Is drinking much more
- Has had a big loss: job, marriage, death, money
If he is in immediate danger, call emergency services and the Pa Bawo crisis line straight away.
